The thresher shark is one of the ocean's most distinctive predators, identifiable by a tail almost as long as its body, which it whips through bait balls to stun fish. They're found in tropical and temperate seas worldwide, usually in deeper water than other shark species. Mon's Thresher design captures the long-tail silhouette in detailed line work down the full length of each blade, on a black base that suits divers and spearos who prefer their kit dark. A favourite among underwater photographers who've been lucky enough to spot one, and for freedivers who want a less common species on their fin.

All off-cuts from fin production are processed through the TPC-Cycle project, which retains the high mechanical properties of thermoplastic composites and reduces the overall environmental impact. This process has been used to produce the world's first flying part made from recycled thermoplastic composite materials.
